I’m Hidsal Jamil—born among Bugis–Enrekang stories about struggle, resilience, and the uneven paths of development. Those stories became questions, and the questions became my work. I now navigate the space where data meets humanity—studying how fiscal choices shape households, how policies breathe life into regions, and how small decisions create large ripples.
