I also managed critical aspects like bank reconciliations, budget estimates, and financial reporting, ensuring the institute's financial health and compliance. My role at Kisii University as an senior accounts assistance and later Accountant laid the foundation for my career. I was instrumental in transitioning the manual preparation of bank reconciliation statements to a digital format, streamlining the process significantly. Supervising the implementation of an ERP finance module was a challenging yet rewarding experience that has had a lasting impact on the university's financial operations. I hold an MBA in Finance from Kisii University and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Egerton University, coupled with a CPA-K certification. These academic achievements have provided me with a solid theoretical understanding of finance, which I've applied practically in my roles.
