My leadership experience reaches diverse industries from business, urban planning, education, engineering, healthcare administration, financial management, hospitality to human resources and more. My strength is the ability to lead high performing teams, to develop clear strategies, to maintain financial and policy compliance standards, and managed multi-faceted projects with facilitated targeted training. Formerly an Inter-Governmental Affairs Officer at Spokane County, forging strategic partnerships and streamlining services among over 80 regional government entities, ensuring robust financial stewardship and community engagement. Our team has efficiently managed financial transactions exceeding $20 billion annually, invested $1.9 billion in public funds and navigated the complexities of property tax collection. I’m an Air Force Veteran and served as a Resource Management Officer has endowed me with acute financial acumen, overseeing a complex financial portfolio of $3.1 million in appropriated funds and $8.9 million in non-appropriated fund instrumentalities and cultivating a compliant and transparent fiscal environment. Additionally, my cultural competency and fluency in Vietnamese is a strategic resource to operate in the Indo-Pacific region. I believe that I have strong diplomacy skills and I'm working to become a U.S. Ambassador (Foreign Service Officer) with the U.S. State Department.
