About Hillary Sigale

My name is Hillary and I am a professional in the entertainment field. I am currently working as a Talent Manager in the theatrical department at Shushu Entertainment.I also have previous experience working as an agent assistant at Paonessa Talent Agency, as a casting assistant at Oak Park Festival Theatre, and a casting intern at O'Connor Casting Company. I pursued a major in the sciences in college. After one semester, I realized I missed acting. By secondsemester, I had taken my first college acting class. I then spent that whole summer at the Globe Theatre in London studying Shakespearean Acting. I ended up receiving only a minor in drama because I left college a year early (with a B.A. in Philosophy-Neuroscience-Psychology in hand) to accept a significant role in a Chicago production.When I first moved to Chicago, I got a day job as a Research Assistant at a Neuro-Lab at Northwestern University. After completing that year-long research position, I decided to pursue my Master’s Degree in Counseling with a focus on working with people who have disabilities. During my Master’s program, I interned at Erie Neighborhood House. After graduation, I took a position as a job accommodation specialist at Sedgwick CMS. While that job was great, it wasn’t really what I wanted. So, I decided to apply for an internship at a talent agency. That internship solidified my interest in working to help other actors achieve success whether through talent agency/talent management work or through casting. I look forward to the opportunity to contribute to this field in the years to come.
