About Hima Mannava

I am a Master’s student in Biomedical Discovery & Commercialization at McMaster University, pursuing a career at the intersection of science and industry. My experience spans clinical research, data management, and leadership, providing a strong foundation for biotech and pharma roles. At the Injury Prevention Research Office, I support the Toronto Pituitary Lesion Study by reviewing patient charts, maintaining databases, and assisting in neurosurgery clinics. These experiences have strengthened my ability to manage complex data with accuracy and translate findings into meaningful insights. Beyond research, I have managed operations and people as a Community Advisor and Tutoring Centre Coordinator, and I volunteer with Distress Centre Halton providing crisis support. Together, these roles have built skills in communication, problem-solving, and collaboration that I am eager to apply across the biotech and pharmaceutical industries.
