About Himani B.

Since childhood I've found joy in colors and fabrics often using them for designing and stitching clothes for my dolls. I never imagined that this creative passion would lead to a career especially coming from a small town where design was not always perceived or much respected. After completing my secondary education in science in the city I had an awakening realizing my passion and vision for my career and that's when my journey truly began I shifted from science studies to fashion design . It was a challenging transition especially when comparing myself to classmates with backgrounds in fine arts and design. However I persevered and passed with 78% continuing my educational journey with a Master's in Design and the dream of entering NIFT. Over time I continued to expand my knowledge and skills in the diverse world of design. Throughout this journey my parents were my unwavering support always encouraging me and have been my pillars throughout this journey. Now with a Master of Design and a background in Fashion Design I seamlessly blend creativity with technical expertise to address complex design challenges and enhance user experiences. For nine months I worked in women empowerment project a cause close to my heart working closely with women from rural villages in Jaipur and conducting ground studies. Empathy and respect were my guiding principles in this endeavor. Additionally I had the privilege of contributing to the cultural section of a prestigious The lifestyle Journalist magazine where I researched and wrote about unique culture attire and architecture of my state. My work in this section allowed me to delve deeper into the cultural richness of my region and share it with a broader audience. I describe me as dedicated and enthusiastic learner thriving on acquiring new skills and embracing fresh challenges always approaching tasks with unwavering dedication
