Managed in country planning for Phase II-IV clinical trials at GSK, which included execution & delivery of clinical research projects to timelines, budget and quality expectations as defined by the protocol, local regulations, IND/ICH GCP guidelines for human subject research & company written standards. Experienced in working remotely and in-house with global and local matrix teams, including cross-functional team members from: Quality Assurance, Regulatory affairs, Clinical Supplies, Procurement, Contracts, Legal, Monitoring, Data Management, Medical Affairs and Vendors. Successfully lead strategy and execution of departmental recruitment, resulting in onboarding and training of ten new hires over a period of three months. Assumed leadership of HMC’s external grants team, and significantly improved research office performance on Qatar Foundation grants through introducing streamlined workflows, clear accountabilities and responsibilities, improved communication and internal KPIs aligned to external KPIs.
