About Hiren Akbari

As a Student Ambassador at Conestoga College, I represent and promote the the Conestoga Programs to prospective and current students, as well as industry partners and employers. I also assist with various events and activities, such as orientation, workshops, and campus tours, to enhance the student experience and engagement. I am passionate about learning new skills and technologies in the mechanical engineering field, and I am pursuing this program to complement my Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Gujarat Technological University, which I completed in 2016. Before joining Conestoga College, I worked as a Research and Development Manager at Jetprix International Private Limited for over a year, leading a team of engineers in designing and developing innovative solutions for various products and projects, such as pumps, valves, and turbines. I have extensive experience and expertise in using Solid Edge, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks software to create 3D models and drawings that meet the client's specifications and quality standards. I have also successfully managed multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget compliance, and customer satisfaction. My goal is to contribute to the advancement and innovation of the mechanical engineering sector.
