My expertise covers speech recognition, natural language processing, deep learning, image analysis, and edge AI, with a strong record of transforming research outcomes into commercial successes. At Toshiba, I advanced from researcher to Deputy Leader of the AI Laboratory (50+ members) and Corporate AI Promotion Lead, shaping company-wide AI strategies. I authored 30+ patents, delivered 8+ first-author publications at top international conferences (ICASSP, INTERSPEECH, ICIP), and spearheaded the release of Japan’s DNN-based speech recognition product.
