Background
About Ho C.
I am an assistant sports engineering manager at the Sport Biomechanics & Technology department of the Hong Kong Sports Institute. The department provides technological support to professional HK athletes to analyze and improve their performance. My primary job is to design and develop mechatronic technology such as indoor localization wearable devices to track athlete motion for later analysis and smart timing devices that are selective based on athletes' tags. In my free time, I enjoy creating various self-designed contraptions in the spirit of the maker culture using open-source tools and 3D printing. I also enjoy traveling, having been brought up in multiple countries.
