About Holger Beck

Here’s what I’ve learned after 37 years in aviation and the MRO industry:It’s not the complexity of aircraft systems that challenges us most – it’s leading people across cultures, generations and expectations. And I wouldn’t want it any other way.I’m President & CEO at Lufthansa Technik Philippines, where I lead 3,200 people in a region that’s shaping the future of aviation. But titles aside, what I really do is build clarity – especially when things get complex. Whether we’re ramping up a major MRO project or navigating cultural differences in leadership. My job is to create the conditions where others can perform at their best. We’ve moved from rigid structures to agile teams. We’ve connected KPIs to purpose. And we’ve learned that true performance comes when people feel trusted – not micromanaged.I’m passionate about intercultural leadership. Why? Because working in APAC has shown me that empathy, curiosity and a shared vision are far more powerful than any single management style. And here’s what I believe: Accountability is giving people ownership – not just instructions. Purpose means connecting daily work to something truly meaningful. Collaboration starts with listening – especially when the pressure is high.On LinkedIn, I share thoughts on leadership, transformation and the small moments that make a big difference in global teams.Let’s connect – especially, if you believe that people, not processes, move aviation forward.
