I am a trainee solicitor (SQE) in the Dispute Resolution department at Pepperells Solicitors. As a team we individually deal with all kinds of disputes, from land lord and tenant disputes and boundary disputes, to medical negligence and personal injury claims. I initially began my career at Pepperells as a Compliance Intern. This role helped me learn quickly about the running of a file(s) and how they should effectively be managed, while ensuring that all SRA regulations and guidelines are followed. Following on from this I entered the role of a Paralegal, working alongside solicitors in disputes often specifically surrounding medical negligence and personal injury matters. I have recently graduated from the University of Hull, after achieving a 2:1 overall.
