About Holly Maas

IAI Certified Crime Scene Analyst that is highly motivated and passionate about continuing to learn and educate others in the field. I was hired as the Evidence Technician and Property Manager for Grand Chute Police Department in 2013 becoming the first full time civilian in the state of Wisconsin to work in the crime scene and evidence role. I worked there until 2018 and now work as the Crime Scene Technician and Tactical Crime Analyst for Ashwaubenon Department of Public Safety where I process our scenes for evidence, manage the property room, assist officers and investigators where needed, and provide necessary training to our staff. I am an Adjunct Instructor for Fox Valley Technical College where I instruct in the Forensic Science and Criminal Justice program. I’m also a Corporate Training Instructor for officers and investigators at Northeastern Wisconsin Technical College. I have developed and instructed many trainings on the topic of evidence and crime scene processing and I’m always looking for new opportunities to meet and network with others. I am currently serving as the 1st Vice President of the Wisconsin Association for Identification and just finished serving my third term as the Chairman of the Board after being elected to the Board in 2014 and serving as the President in 2018. Through the WAI, I am an active member of the Conference committee, Property and Evidence committee, the Scholarship Committee, and the Membership and Recruitment Committee. I have presented multiple years at our Annual Educational Seminar I am a graduate from Fox Valley Technical College having graduated December 2013 with my Associates of Applied Science in Forensic Science and I graduated with Honors. Courses for Certificates as an Evidence Technician, Advanced Evidence Technician, Criminal Investigation, and Fire Investigation have also been completed. I am currently a student at UW Platteville to complete my B.S in Criminal Justice. I have attended many additional trainings, conventions, and seminars to further my education in forensic science.
