I began my career in IT a university setting (UNB) while I was working on my undergraduate and graduate degrees. I moved on to a variety of IT positions over the next 12 years, building on my skills throughout. During my years of experience, I have acquired demonstrated abilities in all aspects of troubleshooting user issues, from initial contact to resolution for a variety of software and hardware products. I am skilled in delivering very complex technical information to people of varying technical abilities. At Queen's University, I was able to apply my skill set to becoming the LMS expert in the Faculty of Education and began managing the IT operations group. In my current position as Associate Director, Sustainability and Educational Technology, I manage the sustainability and operations team for the faculty. Our team is part of a agile DevOps team which develops, implements and maintains innovative solutions for the faculty. As well as my IT experience, I have lived abroad in China, and speak intermediate Chinese.
