About Holly Williams

I am a dedicated scientist with a Ph.D. in biomedical sciences and a passion for understanding the molecular and cellular mechanisms that drive complex biological systems in both health and disease. With multidisciplinary training in molecular biology, pharmacology, biochemistry, toxicology, and immunology, I approach scientific questions with an integrative and systems level perspective. Currently, I serve as an Assistant Academic Research Scientist at Emory University School of Medicine, where I contribute to collaborative research exploring a range of biological processes. My work focuses on cell migration, inflammation, metabolism, and tissue remodeling within cardiovascular, cancer, and immune-related contexts. These efforts have resulted in numerous peer-reviewed publications and have expanded our understanding of fundamental biological pathways and emerging therapeutic opportunities. In addition to research, I am deeply committed to education and mentorship. Through various roles in higher education, I have supported student success and professional development, helping to prepare the next generation of scientists and healthcare professionals.
