As a 2011 graduate from the University of Rhode Island I have student teaching experience in grade 2 as well as had opportunities to observe and teach in grade 2 and 4 in both urban and suburban districts. I currently hold a Rhode Island teaching certification as well as a Connecticut teaching certification. I also have my masters in education from Sacred Heart University. Throughout my career I have had the opportunity to work in many different locations around Fairfield County. For the past 3 years I have been a catholic school kindergarten teacher. I love my job and every challenge that goes with it. I hope to continue my career and move into the public schools, as well as continuing my education to become a reading specialist.
