About Honesty Pern

With broad international experience in the non-profit and international development sector, I currently lead the Opinions desk at Devex, the media platform for global development. I welcome pitches from any development professionals. I'm also a slight geek when it comes to newsletters, audience growth, & SEO. What drives me? A commitment to spreading development-related news globally. Before that, while completing my MSc in Sustainable Development, I worked at a local urban development Cambodian NGO, overseeing all communications, program management, and funding. I've also worked in nonprofits in Australia and Russia and originally come from France with some British in the mix. Specialties: editing, audience engagement, newsletter editing and production, project management, managing healthy and win-win relations with stakeholders, institutional and individual fundraising, proposals and reports, volunteer management and training. Interests: sustainable development, environmental projects, the big outdoors, and my family.
