About Hope Menzel

Recent graduate with a bachelors in health sciences working as a medical/ clinical assistant in a primary care setting for complex geriatric patients residing in long term care facilities. I have experience in multiple positions within the healthcare field and have worked within a variety of settings. My goal is to continue to grow my clinical skillset and knowledge base through job shadows, interviews, and never being afraid to ask questions. My educational journey and work experiences have allowed me to confirm my passion, all while challenging my abilities and utilizing my strengths in a practical application. I am currently pursuing higher education in healthcare administration in order to further champion my goal to drive long lasting change in the healthcare world. My passion and interests lie within the primary care setting because of its ability to help patients create a healthy lifestyle and educate them in a meaningful way. Healthcare should start with primary care and the education it can provide. It is also a place to understand, assess, and address potential barriers to care that can set a patient up for success. I hope to become a leader in a healthcare team that works to serve the patient by providing holistic and compassionate care.
