About Hope Yates

A passionate leader dedicated to making a difference. From a young age I knew I would receive the most fulfillment from a service oriented career, and I am currently working towards that dream at Iowa State University. I am pursuing a BS in Kinesiology and Health with the aspirations of attending professional school to obtain a doctorate in physical therapy. I have developed a strong work ethic by maintaining part time jobs and serving on multiple extracurricular committees. My desire to serve and selfless personality have been strengthened through numerous mission trips, volunteering, and my recent medical service trip to Baja, Mexico. My continuing involvement with Dance Marathon, an organization that raises money for the Children’s Network Hospitals, demonstrates my goal oriented and social character, as well as, has served as an opportunity to discover my desire to work with the pediatric population. I am an intrinsically motivated student, employee, and community member who has developed strong organization, multitasking, and communication skills through my diverse list of experiences that will help shape my future success.
