Background

About Houda Ferradi

My first research experience was at Safran Identity & Security, where I researched on trusted security environments for secure embedded devices. After that, I completed a PhD in cryptography and information security at ENS Paris, where I specialized in public key cryptography. Subsequently, I worked for three years as a postdoctoral researcher at NTT Labs in Tokyo, where I mainly focused on post-quantum cryptography and cryptanalysis. Then, I spent two years as a research fellow in the Computer Science Department at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University where I worked on privacy preserving AI. More recently, I co-founded a cybersecurity start-up specializing in SaaS solutions for crypto wallet security, where I served as Chief Scientist. I have also been a cybersecurity and cryptography consultant for Huawei, Ingenico, and Tanker etc I am currently interested in MPC, FHE, and ZKP. I bring a comprehensive skill set in cryptography and cybersecurity, blending deep theoretical knowledge with practical, real-world application. I am also serving Journal of Cryptographic Engineering (JCEN) as an editorial manager.
