About Howard Bartner

An experienced senior level leader: A strategic thinker with a collaborative style, clear business acumen and a servant leader. Known for building and maintaining relationships with diverse audiences. A problem solver, solution provider, decision maker and conflict resolver. Howard is currently the Senior Vice President – Operations for Junior Achievement USA. He is responsible for consulting, supporting, and providing direct service in all aspects of successful operations to the staff and board of local JA offices. Skilled in board development and management, HR, hiring, staff development and management. He also serves on the Senior Management team of JA USA. Howard holds a B.A. from Virginia Wesleyan College. He formerly served on the Board of Directors of Temple Shalom, The Boys and Girls Club of the Pike Peak Region, The YMCA and, is an active volunteer for Junior Achievement of Southern Colorado Inc and Temple Shalom. Howard received the Frances Hesselbein “How to Be” award as the best example of living Junior Achievement’s values of respect, integrity and excellence. He received the 2014 Alumni Service Award from Virginia Wesleyan College.
