Background
About Howard Brown
With over 20 years of experience in athletics and education, I am an expert in developing, implementing, and managing sports programs and events for schools and organizations. I have a passion for promoting physical education, wellness, and sportsmanship among students, staff, and the community, and I have demonstrated skills in leadership, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving. I recently served as the Athletic Director at Ross School, where I oversaw the school's athletic department, which included hiring and training staff, managing budgets and resources, ensuring compliance with state and national standards, and coordinating with external partners and stakeholders. I also contributed to the school's academic and extracurricular activities, such as organizing fundraisers, mentoring students, and supporting teachers. I am looking for an opportunity to apply my expertise and competencies in a new and challenging environment, where I can align with the mission, vision, and values of a reputable and innovative organization.
