About Howard Diener

In addition to co-founding SMC2LLC, a strategic consulting firm, Howard is an experienced senior level executive with more than 50 years of experience in the areas of retail, health care, marketing and ad business strategy. While stewarding some major corporations such as Revlon, Peoples Drug Stores, Rite-Aid Drug Stores and Dart Drug among others, in critical positions such as CEO of the Retail Division, EVP and SVP of Marketing, respectively. He assumed the responsibility for corporate oversight, business plan development, budgeting processes, and the development and growth of all aspects of the sales, marketing and communications functions in the afore-mentioned corporations. Howard has also served as Managing Director of Marks Education and Olde Towne Pet Resorts where he was responsible for all aspects of the management of these companies. Howard has acted as Account Director for more than 14 projects for the Taproot Foundation, a pro-bono organization established for the purpose of helping non-profits achieve their mission and goals by lending its expertise to them through expert management services in the areas of marketing and finance. He has twice been honored for his pro-bono work.
