Background
About Howard Lee
Executive with unique experience by being the CEO/Founder in the start-up world and SVP/GM of Fortune 50 division in the enterprise world. For a Fortune 50 company was responsible as GM & SVP for running a division with thousands of people and hundreds of millions of dollar revenue. In the start-up world as Founder or Co-Founder created from a napkin relevant companies in their domains. Directly responsible for raising Seed, Series A, B, C and Growth Equity rounds, with successful up-rounds in each. At one point was the CEO of a NASDAQ listed company. During my tenures as CEO I’ve been fortunate to create and work with great teams. We were able to manage and execute exceptional revenue growth which for one company was 3,734% over three-year average and was the 90th fastest growing company in 2013 according to INC magazine. As important in these high growth companies was able to get the company to be EBITDA profitable and or was able to generate significant millions in free cash flow. In much of my career used and deployed new technology to help disrupt, positively such industries as direct marketing one of the first teams to deploy leading edge reporting and database tools; deployed the first platforms driving the nascent ecommerce industry when Amazon was only doing books; was first to do on-line ticketing, and was one of the first to deploy IT/Telecom applications into the Cloud (CCaaS). One area where I focus on right now is with IT teams moving to soft switches and applications; the transition from TDM to SIP and the movement towards including the customer experience within the call center cost efficiency formula. Efficiency does not have to equal a poor customer experience, and growth does not have to painful; it can and should be friction-free. More important you can see the impact users are having on IT teams and the desire to of users to control more of their own destiny when it comes to the applications they use.
