About Howard Mitchell
I graduated from Loyola University Maryland with a B.A. in philosophy in the spring of 2011. I spent the next several years completing the medical school prerequisites in a post-baccalaureate program at the University of Maryland, College Park, while working as a research associate at the Lieber Institute for Brain Development at Johns Hopkins. I then taught science in high school and middle school at The Heights School for the 2015-16 academic year. Currently, I am the Clinic and Training Program Director at Next Level Lacrosse in Bethesda, MD. At Next Level I am also the program-wide defensive director, as well as the head coach for the 2024, 2025, and 2027 boys travel teams. Finally, I am in my fifth year as the Defensive Assistant Coach for The Heights School Varsity lacrosse team.
