About Howard Querido

Money’s not everything, but having it lets you do more, give more, and worry less. It matters… because you matter. Being the youngest of 4 kids raised by a humble South African family, I inherited a healthy blend of money smarts, curiosity and compassion and learned to value wisdom, family, and community above all else. As a studious teenager with an insatiable passion and a burning desire to make difference, I revelled in all that was university life after being awarded a full academic scholarship. A few years later and with a number of accolades to my name, I joined the armed forces. Those years instilled in me strong organisational skills, the ability to think outside the box, and the kind of meticulousness that drives my wife mad… traits my clients fully embrace as their financial adviser. What my education, the military and my life experience has taught me is the pure joy that comes from serving and working with people and making a demonstrable difference in their lives by helping them make smart decisions with their money. As an immigrant to Australia, with no extended family or professional network to lean on, I started my financial planning business from the ground up. My clients are the extended family I don’t have here. Together, we make choices, we commiserate, and we celebrate.
