About Howard Shore
As a manufacturer’s rep in the contract furniture industry, we covered an eight state Southeastern territory for over four decades, eventually building the business into a multi-million dollar enterprise and managing twenty-two employees. In I sold the business and began looking for ways to occupy my time. Over the next few years I owned then sold both a hardware store and pizza restaurant in Colorado. In various capacities, I have been volunteering my spare time with area canine rescue organizations. Recently I and three of my rescued pups who became Certified Therapy Dogs spend time visiting patients and staff with the Northside Hospital Canine Team, as well as visiting nursing homes and hospices. After a few years of consulting work with various manufacturers, I joined Segis USA, the American branch of Segis S.p.A, an Italian furniture manufacturer. I have experience in selling and promoting Segis products because of my twenty-eight year association with Loewenstein, who originally introduced Segis to the United States marketplace.
