I started my law enforcement career at the early age of 18 with the Detroit Police Department just over 20 years ago. During my tenure of 20 years, I worked various assignments including Patrol, Narcotics, Special Operations, Gang Enforcement, US Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force and Professional Education and Training. While assigned to Professional Education and Training I was a member of the Physical Skills Staff where I specialized in teaching use of force, subject control and physical fitness.
