About Howie Dawson

Howie believes that we are all far more capable than we imagine and is passionate about guiding people beyond their perceived limits towards their true potential. It is this conviction that was the catalyst for the formation of Unleashed-Unlimited, a company dedicated to empowering individuals and forging exceptional teams through the provision of unique, life-changing, adventure-based, educational experiences. Howie comes from a military background having served for 11 years in the Australian Special Forces, including 5 years with the Special Air Service Regiment. During his time in the SAS, Howie deployed on numerous operations to high-risk environments around the globe and served extensively on the Counter-Terrorist teams. Whilst in the military, Howie held numerous senior training and leadership positions in a diverse range of areas of expertise including Counter Terrorism, Sniping and Advanced First Aid. Howie has since worked in the private security sector for over 10 years on governmental, commercial and private contracts. He has been instrumental in creating workable plans and procedures congruous with local security issues for both land-based and maritime security operations across the globe. Howie uses his extensive experience, an intelligent and empathetic approach and his excellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop and lead teams that have proven to be highly successful amidst the challenges of the world’s most austere environments.
