About Huan Li

Huan is a Venture Partner at Plug and Play Tech Center, a global innovation platform that connects startups, investors, and corporations. He has over 10 years of experience in angel investing and serial entrepreneurship, focusing on AI application startups in the Bay Area. He is also a Microsoft Regional Director and a Google Developer Expert in Machine Learning, which are prestigious titles awarded to technology leaders and influencers who share their expertise and vision with the community. Previously, Huan was the Chief Scientist for YouKu.com, where he built the technology team and led the development of video streaming and recommendation systems. He also founded two successful companies, AKA.cn and JiWai.com, which were acquired by major players in the Chinese internet industry. Huan has authored several books on technology topics, such as Linux Network Programming, Email Anti-Spamming, and Intelligence Q/A with Deep Learning. He is passionate about creating and supporting innovative solutions that solve real-world problems and empower people. He mentors startups in entrepreneurship and machine learning, and maintains several open-source projects on GitHub, such as a FaceNet Node implementation based on TensorFlow and a ChatBot SDK Wechaty for making AI chatbots on the Wechat platform. In his free time, he enjoys paragliding, salsa dancing, and coding.
