Research scientist. Assay developer for unlocking scientific and therapeutic barriers. My expertise includes project design and management, data analysis and interpretation centered around the development and implementation of research tools. I have developed a method to quantify CAG repeat instability at the protein level using cutting edge immunodetection technology - Meso Scale Discovery and Single Molecule Counting. This method can have clinical application assessing somatic CAG repeat instability from Huntington disease’s patients’ cerebrospinal fluid, where mutant huntingtin protein can be detected. It can also be used for pharmacodynamics in clinical trials aiming at reducing CAG repeat instability. I have also developed” SynAggreg”, a high throughput technology that allows to study amyloid aggregation. The integrated automated data analysis and mathematical models allow to screen for synergistic aggregation modulators. Beside the scientific aspects of Huntington’s disease, I have been involved in the associative sphere to improve the quality of life of patients and families. Since 2011, I have been an active member of the “Association Huntington France” and served as a member of the board of directors from 2013 to 2016. Specialties- Sandwich-based immunoassay: antibody purification and labeling, Meso Scale Discovery and Single Molecule Counting- Biochemistry: production, purification and quantitative and qualitative characterization of recombinant proteins. Basic knowledge in protein-protein interaction methods (GST pull down and surface plasmon resonance)- Molecular biology: cloning for expression of recombinant proteins- Automation: Training for high throughput screening for the use of robot (Biomek® FX, Biomek® NX, SAMI® Workstation EX Software)- Software: ImageJ, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; GraphPad Prism; Serial Cloner; ImageQuant TL; Unicorn.
