I support global organizations at the start of their digital transformation journeys. This involves empowering them with new technology so they can modernize and truly grow at scale. It’s genuinely rewarding to show clients a vision of what’s possible, and then provide the expertise to help them get there. Businesses are always surprised to discover the depth and breadth of what Verizon do. While we’re probably best known as a major network provider, we can also enable them to benefit from a host of other capabilities—from on-site 5G to multi-access edge computing. After over 28 years of working with new companies, I’ve learnt that trust is the most important thing. When organizations partner with a global enterprise like Verizon, I’m hugely appreciative of the fact that they’re making a major investment. So it’s essential that we deliver on our commitments as their long-term partner. In that spirit, I make sure that our early conversations are really open and honest. I explain what we can bring to the table compared to other partners, and outline our own capabilities in a clear and structured way. It’s also really important to let our clients know if there’s something we can’t help them with. I’m lucky to work with an incredibly talented team, so I’m always confident that we can find the right solution. But ultimately, a partnership needs to be built on goals that are both ambitious and achievable. Away from work, I love painting, rowing and traveling. Visiting new countries is a great way to learn about different cultures and points of view, which can lead you to coming home with a fresh perspective.
