About Huda Khan

I am Senior Lecturer in Marketing and Director of MSC Marketing Management Program at the University of Aberdeen. I am also Associate Director of Africa-Asia Centre of Sustainability Research at the University of Aberdeen. Prior to joining University of Aberdeen, I have completed my PhD in Marketing & worked as a Lecturer at the University of South Australia. I have also worked on commercial research projects with Ehrenberg-Bass Institute of Marketing Science in Australia; a world class research centre. As a Marketing Scientist, I have worked on a number of projects involving well-known international brands such as Unilever and SC Johnsons. These projects (worth involved research in a number of markets across the United Kingdom, the United States, Norway, Argentina, Brazil, China, Germany and France. Working on a wide range of projects with an equally wide range of clients, countries, and research techniques has enabled me to have a rich background in market research and consultancy. Altogether, I have about 10 years of working experience in academia and industry within Australia and United Kingdom. I have also been publishing in high-quality academic research outlets, such as European Journal of Marketing, International Business Review, Annals of Tourism Research, International Marketing Review, Journal of Product Innovation Management, among others. In the United Kingdom, I am an Affiliate Professional at the Chartered Institute of Marketing, an accreditation body of Marketing Management programs. In Australia, I have served as an active Advisory Member of the Australian Marketing Institute; the largest professional body of Marketing Managers in Australia and Accreditation body for UniSA undergraduate Marketing program. I am a member of the Editorial Advisory Board International Marketing Review, Journal of Business Research, Industrial Marketing Management, Multinational Business Review, Multinational Business Review, and Journal of Knowledge Management.
