It takes only 70 seconds to watch the attached movie -) It shows me as Chief Officer, responsible for the loading operations: Through careful planning and integrating the team's input, we successfully took cpt. Cousteau's "Calypso"​ on board. I'm very proud of this accomplishment! Being on board both cargo and ocean going sailing ships, I worked with nice people in challenging circumstances, such as pretty bad weather, numerous cultures living together and non-structural working hours. It makes me happy to get things done with the whole team by improving ways of working and learning from others. If not at work I respond to 'Heart Safe Living'​-alarms as volunteer (CPR and AED qualified). If not saving somebody's life, I like to enjoy beautiful things such as music, art, nature and quietness. Oh, and people. I enjoy nice people!
