I am a high-performance Governmental Relations and Public Policy Professional who has built a strong track record of delivering the leadership, strategies, and insights to advance key legislative priorities. Over the course of my career, I have experience in lobbying and managing the passage of landmark legislation with unanimous support through the Oregon Legislature. I have crafted legislation in health care, education, agriculture, and other policy areas that secured bipartisan sponsorship from Representatives and Senators and coordinated with stakeholders on the advancement of consequential legislation through both chambers. I also played a critical role in the passage of legislation that has helped to address rising costs in higher education and provided greater access to affordable education options while I worked in the House Minority Office at the Oregon Legislature. A key strength has been my skill for building powerful relationships with and securing the support of lobbyists, state agencies, interest groups, and other stakeholders to pass a wide range of legislative priorities within highly polarized legislative environments that exist in this current political period across the country. I also continually research, analyze, and remain in step with key legislation in other states and at the federal level to deliver innovative solutions to problems faced by statewide and regional constituencies.
