About Hugh Ealey

I have had 30+ years' experience in senior finance positions. I qualified as a Chartered Accountant at Price Waterhouse (PWC). My first move into commerce was as Financial Controller for Mike Walsh's Hayden Group of Companies. I gained public company exposure while Finance and Administration Manager in the private hospital division of ASX listed Mayne Nickless. My ten year career with The Leading Edge Market Research Consultants delivered new challenges annually, growing from a small Sydney based enterprise of 30 employees to a global business of over 100 staff where my last position was Director of Finance & Systems when TLE was acquired by ASX listed Photon Group (now Enero Group ASX: EGG). At DATS I had to deal hands on with the challenges facing a SME in a competitive industry coming out of the GFC and undertaking a complex restructure. I was CFO and company secretary of Ocean Guardian / Shark Shield for 8 years which included various capital raisings including the preparation for two IPOs. I am currently part-time CFO of Taggle Systems Pty Ltd which is a smart water meter technology company transitioning from start-up to growth.
