About Hugo Dorez

I am Co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer at HawkCell, leading the development of AI-based MRI and CT solutions designed from animal data, for veterinarians and animal care. Our technology tackles the complexity of advanced imaging systems, ensuring uniform, high-quality imaging and enabling rapid, precise diagnoses across neurology, cardiology, metabolism, and more. At HawkCell, I am committed to delivering the best imaging tools to support veterinary specialists — neurologists, radiologists, and clinicians — while ensuring AI enhances, not replaces, human expertise. Our tools empower veterinarians to make faster and more confident decisions. During my PhD at CREATIS Laboratory in Lyon, I developed MRI sensors, acquisition protocols, and software for quantitative imaging, including T1/T2 mapping and spectroscopy. Today, I focus on advancing HawkCell’s integrated platform — MRI/CT sensors, quantitative imaging, AI, and big data analytics — continuously validated with key opinion leaders. Our work is driven by ambition, trust, innovation, excellence, and grit, guiding us as we redefine veterinary imaging and empower clinicians worldwide.
