If you believe you can or if you believe you can't, in both cases, you are right."- Henry Ford I can say that I was lucky, yes, lucky to have grown up in a family environment that always believed in me! Of course, I went through moments of insecurity and lack of confidence, especially regarding my physical appearance, but this environment always challenged me to venture into the experience that life is. Throughout my journey, I have always been very active in various activities, from getting good grades in school, playing soccer at a competitive level, being a chess player, and playing guitar in garage bands! I've always been involved in different environments and activities that allowed me to meet different people and realities, as well as develop various skills! Unfortunately, when I entered college, I made one of the worst decisions of my life. I decided to leave all the environments I was part of to focus solely on college! Don't get me wrong, the college experience and the years I spent there were incredible, but I regret narrowing my focus to just one place! When I reached the final stretch of my academic journey, I encountered something that really bothered me! My confident and enthusiastic outlook on my future had disappeared. My imagination was confined to a life that was merely sufficient, which had always been my greatest fear - living a life that was only just enough. It was four years ago at this time, propelled by some people I barely knew and who are now part of my closest circle of friends, that I decided to start my own business in parallel with my career in engineering, which I now operate both in Portugal and around the world! Today, I feel excited about what's to come, and all of this is because I decided to believe I could do it! Believing in yourself costs nothing, not believing in yourself costs a lifetime of regrets! What price do you want to pay?
