About Hugo Marchat

Currently, I am Financial Audit Junior at Ernst & Young. My principal missions are to support audit legal missions for different clients. I am working on statuary and consolidated accounts in French GAAP and IFRS standards. After a Science Baccalaureate got in 2019, I decided to continue my studies with a Preparatory Economics Class with a Scientific option to keep learning mathematics. This orientation enabled me to increase the scope of opportunities and forge a path that aligns with my passions. Two years later, marked by rigor and ambition, I started at KEDGE Business School Bordeaux in September 2021. Apart from my schooling, I played football and developed a strong team spirit during a season at national level (U17 Nationaux). At my integration of KEDGE, I made the choice to join the Junior-Enterprise, AMS Conseil in order to begin my professional experience. First, as Project Manager, I discovered different studies such as market study, business model, and financial analysis. Then, I become President of the AMS Conseil for 8 months. In my role as President, I emphasized team management, establishing good rapport with my team and engagement throughout our group. Besides my voluntary experience, I followed the corporate finance major with the aim of implementing my enthusiasm for mathematics. This choice fit into a volunteer role in financial services. My academic career was punctuated by a semester exchange in Dakar where I followed a specialization in economics and corporate finance. Then, I went on as Management Accountant in Extia, IT Services & IT Consulting company, for a first 6-month intership. My second 6-month internship was in Luxembourg as Financial Controller in FLE S.A, an Investment Fund Management managing Real Estate funds. These two experiences allowed me to improve my knowledge of financial job and financial sector through financial analyses presentations, the establishment & monitoring of economic KPIs and financial reconciliation.
