About Hugo Stappers

After years of experience in corporate psychology, primary health care psychology, addiction care and psychiatry care, I have the pleasure to teach Medical students and General Practitioners in training. My goal is to provide enthusiasm for the field, hearts and minds for evidence based thinking and a critical and outside-of-the box approach for the professional (in spé). I'm fascinated by the work of Wittgenstein as well as ordinary daily knowledge. I love to transfer this to others and make it applicable in practical situations. Though much is written I like to emphasize the importance of unwritten and unspoken issues. Specialties: Generalist. Besides that: Chronic Care, communication, Motivational interviewing, collaboration and organization, personal leadership, intervention strategies, EMDR, psychological diagnostics.
