About Huma Iqbal

15 years in national and global non-profit sector, I deliver communications solutions on public health, clean air, climate change and gender equity in health leadership. I design strategic communications to reshape narrative on clean air as a fundamental human right in Pakistan. My work looks at the finance side of climate change and examines financial institutions particularly banks’ role in protection of the society. I have led development of national and global campaigns on child marriage, reproductive health and rights for young people and female voter registration. I encourage and solicit ideas from frontline staff and develop research reports, case studies, policy briefs to showcase impact; design data-visualised knowledge products, leverage digital spaces for cross borders outreach. I love applying responsive design principles and watching my written pages shrink into television programs, news columns and web pages. It is oddly satisfying to be able to communicate ideas that create social value.
