I am a strong believer of inner strengths and abilities to catalyze significant transformation and healing. I am Experienced clinician ( MSW,RSW) with a demonstrated history of supporting people experiencing severe mental health challenges like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, schizoaffective disorder, clinical depression, anxiety, OCD, lack of self esteem and self confidence. Experienced in CBT, DBT, Solution Focussed Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness-based approach, Trauma informed practice- Strong understanding of Ontario legislation including the Mental Health Act, Health Care Consent Act Personal Health Information Protection Act and Substitute Decisions Act - Experience in Addiction/Mental Health counselling and Harm Reduction approaches - Strong case management and crisis intervention skills- Experienced in providing psychoeducation to care givers - Fluent in English, Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi.
