About Hung Vo

Driven by a passion for constructing gizmos, applications, and contraptions to deliver engineering-oriented and widely applicable goals to our community, I aspire to learn more, scrapping with necessary tools, knowledge, and skills, to equip myself with verifiable qualities and develop a greater scientific mental model for my upcoming professional endeavor. That said, I am currently majoring in Computer Engineering at the University of Cincinnati. Initially, I chose Computer Engineering as my major because of the vast areas of interest the program can expose you to, while maintaining more concentration on more software aspects (Data Structures, Algorithms). However, throughout some of my courses, especially electives in Embedded System Design and my previous internship with Digital Futures, I have learnt to develop a keen interest in designing and interfacing with microcontroller platforms such as STMicroelectronics, Arduino, and Raspberry Pi, while simultaneously designing scientific level thinking on programming to enable capabilities for the hardware device. My current interests comprise an eclectic but transferrable range of areas in Robotics and Autonomy, Firmware, Embedded Systems, Scientific Programming with a strong scope in Embedded Software Programming, Software Engineering, and Data Science. I also look forward to further diving into game development, physics simulation, and graphics.
