About Hunny Verma

I am a passionate structural engineer with more than 5 year of work experience. With strong educational background and research experience I have enhanced my analytical and software skills to solve complex engineering problems concerned with building structure. I am primarily working on modelling, analysis and design of reinforced concrete and prestressed building structures using American and Indian standards. I have experience of finite element modelling, analysis and design of hospitals and residential buildings, design of prestress parking structure, response spectrum and time history analysis, pushover analysis, modelling of base isolated structure, performance based design, lateral and diaphragm torsion analysis, design of non structural elements as per NDMA guidelines. My research experience is on three dimensional finite element modelling of high speed train using ABAQUS to propose empirical relationship governing the track deterioration. My software skills include ETABS, SAFE, ABAQUS, STADD Pro, ENERCALC. I have experience in structural detailing using AutoCAD and MicroStation. I have also honed my coding skills using VBA and Python.
