About Hunter Blackmon

With a background in business from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and over three years of experience at Walt Disney World Resort, I’ve developed a strong passion for theme park operations and the hospitality industry. My journey—from frontline Cast Member to Trainer, Relief Coordinator and now Magic Kingdom Park Entry Coordinator—has deepened my commitment to creating seamless and memorable Guest experiences. Currently pursuing my Master’s in Hospitality and Tourism Management at UCF’s Rosen College, I’m expanding my expertise in service leadership, guest satisfaction, and operational strategy. In my current role, I support the daily operation of Magic Kingdom Park Entry by ensuring efficient park ingress, upholding safety and courtesy standards, and fostering a welcoming environment for thousands of Guests each day. I take pride in leading with positivity, mentoring fellow Cast Members, and helping drive an inclusive and high-performing team culture. I’m motivated by a desire to enhance the Guest experience through collaborative leadership, thoughtful recognition, and storytelling that inspires. Looking ahead, I aspire to grow into a leadership role in park operations, where I can continue making a meaningful impact on both Guests and Cast.
