About Hunter Cannon

My name is Hunter Cannon and I am a business management major at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina, expected to graduate in the spring of 2020. With my degree, I would love to pursue a career in the front office of a professional baseball team, preferably in the office of the general manager. I've been a catcher for sixteen years now, and I feel my leadership skills that I developed from being behind the plate for so long will carry over off the field into a business setting. I have a knack for talking to people, so I feel I could form solid relationships with the player development staff with the team I'm with, as well as other general managers around the league. I also have a strong work ethic, any tasks that needs completing will not only be done to the best of my ability, but will also be done in a timely manner. Lastly, I have a knowledge and a passion for this game that is almost unmatched. I know I have a very sound idea of what to look for when scouting a player, and I also realize it takes more than just God given talent to make it in this game.
