About Hunter Capobianco

When I was in high school, I had dreams of becoming a doctor. Unfortunately, I wasn't very good at chemistry and that dream ended quickly. After graduating, I went off to college not quite knowing what I wanted to study or which career I'd find myself in. I transferred into business school where I found that I had a passion for business operations, working in team settings, and public speaking. The summer before my senior year, I got a human resources internship at a CPG company based in Burlington, VT, and I began to learn about the inner workings of a business. It was at that time I knew I wanted to be a part of an organization with a mission. I graduated with my B.S. in Business Administration without a job lined up and so began the search. The first job I got was as a door-to-door salesman for a large telecommunications company outside of Boston, MA. It didn't last long, and I found myself searching for a new position once again. One day, I was contacted by a recruiter to interview at a small digital marketing company in Central Massachusetts. Not realizing I was set up for a phone screen, I put on my only suit and drove into the office for my interview. After realizing my mistake, I took the call from my car in the parking lot. Fortunately, I was invited back for an in-person interview, and I was later extended the offer. So began my career in digital marketing. 8+ years later and I'm thankful for it. I've since lived in several different cities across the US, all while continuing to move forward in my career, made thousands of connections, worked with hundreds of businesses both small and large, grown commerce revenues within organizations, and spoken at multiple conferences on the affiliate landscape. Just as I was inspired as a college student to get into the world of business, I'm still inspired every day by what I do. Becoming a people manager has been one of the most rewarding opportunities for me, where I’ve had the honor to lead a small team of other highly motivated individuals. My passion is in partnerships and my expertise is in affiliate marketing. Somewhere in between, I’ve found success. Some other things about me-While it can be challenging at times, I always try to take a call/meeting with a prospect-I make a lot of jokes, some better than others, but I believe a sense of humor is critical to building relationships-In my spare time I can be found watching hockey, cooking, meditating, practicing Italian, or biking.
