About Hunter Casperson

I have always been someone who becomes all-consumed by their passion. Most of my life was spent working towards being the best soccer player I could be. I poured my soul into long sweaty hours on the field, with the end-goal of playing collegiate soccer. I achieved that goal and went on to be one of Chico State’s only dual-sport athletes. Now, I’ve channeled my passion and drive into freelance writing. My true passion lies in advocating for civil rights, writing in creative nonfiction and magazine articles. However, I also crave diverse and unique projects. I have worked and developed a well-rounded set of skills including: copywriting, brand development, social media content creation, Adobe Indesign and Photoshop, Canva, web design, HTML coding, photography, page layout design, ADA compliance and AP style. I am dedicated to creating content and that brings people peace. As a bilingual writer, I am able to represent Spanish speaking individuals, and give voice to underrepresented communities. Through writing and activism, I strive to help minimize the inequality that many oppressed communities face. I believe in authentic, well-researched, truthful writing. I believe in the power of a trusting relationship between readers and writers. I strive to create this by always being transparent, genuine and bold.
