About Hunter Drew

As a quality manager for Epic, I was the lead coordinator and tester for multiple projects which were delivered to customers on time and with high quality. I lead the team's bug triage meeting, where I assigned software developers bugs to investigate and fix. I was also on the Rehab compliance team to research the latest specifications and modifications to governing documents that our customers had to adhere to. Being able to move quickly and use critical thinking to understand the impact of these changes on the fly was indispensable in this role. I was also considered a team expert on mobile software testing, billing, and importing. Finally, I was a member of my team's automated testing council where we created scripts to automatically do specific tasks for us within the software on a nightly basis. Overall, my education and teaching assistant role from Marquette University followed by my time at Epic as a Quality Manager have given me skills to think critically and analytically with an emphasis on avoiding bias. My work experience in the Healthcare industry through Epic as well as my time at Marquette have instilled me with values addressing problems holistically and thinking critically about the impact of actions before they are made. In my future work, I feel motivated to continue spending my time in areas that have a positive impact on people whether its those directly around me or people who I may never meet.
