About Hunter Haskins
I am a proud social studies and humanities instructor at The Carlisle School in Axton, Virginia; an interpreter, docent, and blacksmith with Ferrum College’s Blue Ridge Institute and Museum; board of directors member for the Martinsville-Henry County Historical Society and Heritage Center; and a Roanoke College graduate with a double major in History and Political Science and a concentration in Public History. Through my invaluable educational experiences (on school campuses and off!), I continuously challenge myself to bring engaging historical perspectives to new audiences everywhere.
